Picket in support of Rauf Arifoglu expected
The Committee to Protect Rights of Rauf Arifoglu is going to hold a picket in front of the Prosecutor General's Office on February 5. The application to sanction the protest action has been filed with the capital's executive authorities. This was announced during a round table discussion held by the Committee on January 30.
The action is supposed to be held under the slogan "Set Rauf Arifoglu free!" During the discussion, participants also spoke about another form of protest: all the printing media publish Rauf Arifoglu's photo and the slogan "Set Rauf Arifoglu free!" on the pages of their issues. The Committee is conducting talks on the matter with directors of the issues now.
