Georgia enlarges its peacekeeping force in Iraq
200 Georgian peacekeepers are on their way to Iraq. The Georgian Defense Ministry said that another 60 Georgian peacekeepers, medics and builders were sent to Iraq this past summer. It was added that due to the current situation in Iraq, medics were no longer needed, but peacekeeping forces required bolstering.
