Idris Tsizdoev, kidnapped in Ingushetia, not found yet

Relatives of Idris Tsizdoev, 28, who was kidnapped by unidentified persons on May 26 in Malgobek, still know nothing about his whereabouts. On that very day they informed law enforcement bodies about the incident; however, so far, they failed to learn anything about Tsizdoev's further fate.

On May 29, his relatives brought their written application to the Nazran office of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial". They gave the details of the incident and asked to help them to establish his whereabouts.

It follows from the explanation of Abukar, Idris Tsizdoev's brother, early in the morning on May 26 some 10-12 armed persons in camouflage and masks rushed into their house.

"Explaining nothing and without presenting themselves, they seized Idris and took him out. His brother tried to defend him, but the people in masks aimed their sub-machine guns at him and threatened to kill if he made a move. He heard his brother Idris being beaten. Ten minutes later the kidnappers left in a white 'Gazel' minivan, taking Idris away with them. According to his brother, a large pool of blood remained in the place where they beat Tsizdoev," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the HRC "Memorial".

The relatives of the victim immediately told about the incident to the on duty unit of the Malgobek OVD (interior division). This information was sent to militia posts, and at one of them patrol-sentry agents detained the "Gazel" with the kidnappers.

The agents asked for explanations, but a man in black uniform got out of the minivan and presented an ID of the officer of the Chief Administration of the Operative-Search Bureau (OSB) for the Southern Federal District (SFD) and demanded that his group should be passed through. The kidnappers left in direction of Nazran.

On the fact of Tsizdoev's kidnapping, the Malgobek City Investigatory Division of the Investigatory Department for Ingushetia of the ICPO of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case.
