Pacifist comments result in fine for Stavropol woman

The court has fined Yulia Seireikidis, a resident of the city of Stavropol, by 30,000 roubles, finding her comments posted in the social network as discrediting the Russian Army.

According to the case materials, in 2022-2024, Yulia placed several pacifist posts in the “VKontakte” social network, which were found by law enforcers. They saw in them signs of discrediting the Russian Army, says the website of the Promyshlenny District Court of Stavropol.

The “Caucasian Knot” has also reported that a court in Stavropol had sentenced Sergey Shesterov, local resident to nine months of conditional imprisonment (probation), finding him guilty under the criminal article on repeated discrediting of Russian militaries.
