8 out of 15 local residents detained for carrying arms are released in Ingushetia

Eight out of fifteen Ingushetia residents detained for illegal possession of arms and ammunition have been released, the others are under check. This information is claimed by a source of the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent at the republic's law enforcement agencies.

"As far as I know, part of the detainees, namely eight persons, were released already on the second day after arrest due to lack of proof of their involvement in any crimes. The other seven persons are still under arrest. They will probably be accused of illegal possession of arms and ammunition", said our interlocutor.

The information has not been officially confirmed yet.
