Ingushetia holds counterterrorist operation

Today in the morning, a counterterrorist operation was announced in Ingushetia, in the Gamursiev Municipal District of the city of Nazran. The militia has stated that they looked for militants.

The law enforcement bodies of the Republic have reported that they received information that a group of members of illegal armed formations, involved in a number of subversive and terrorist acts in the territory of Chechnya and Ingushetia, were hiding in the Gamursiev Municipal District of Nazran.

In the afternoon, an employee of the press service of the FSB Department in the Republic of Ingushetia informed the RIA "Novosti" Agency that the operation was over. However, nothing is known so far about its results.

Meanwhile today, in the morning at about 9:30 a.m., an explosion took place in the city of Malgobek, near the building of the District FSB unit. According to the ITAR-TASS, the explosive was planted under the Toyota car belonging to an employee of this FSB unit. At the moment of explosion, he was not in his car.
