Azerbaijanis call new Armenian Minister of Defence a military criminal

Seiran Oganyan, the new Minister of Defence of Armenia, is searched by Azerbaijan as especially dangerous criminal and was declared into search by the Interpol in connection with the genocide of Azerbaijanis in Khodzhaly, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the press service of the Military Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan.

The press service has noted that Seiran Oganyan is known as one of the military criminals who personally participated in the Khodzhaly genocide. Being a battalion commander of the 366th Regiment of the Russian Army, he was in command of Khodzhaly seizure.

We remind you that during seizure of the Khodzhaly settlement, located in Nagorno-Karabakh, at night of February 25-26, 1992, Armenian armed units assassinated 613 peaceful residents, including 63 children, 106 women and 70 old persons. Practically all of them were murdered with special cruelty: people have been decapitated, their eyes were pierced out, and pregnant women had their bellies ripped up with bayonets. Eight families were liquidated completely, 487 persons were wounded, of them 76 children; 1275 persons were taken hostages, and nothing is still known about the fate of 150 of them.
