In North Ossetia, leaders of "Voice of Beslan" reach reconciliation in court

Today, the Pravoberezhny Court of North Ossetia has closed the criminal case against Ella Kesaeva, leader of the All-Russian Public Organization "Voice of Beslan", accused under four Articles of the Russian Criminal Code. Respondent Marina Melikova has cried quits.

"Another reason is in expert Terekhov. I moved a petition in court asking to summon him as a witness, since he had falsified the respondent's evidence," Ella Kesaeva told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to her story, Terekhov was the only expert who was present on September 4, 2004, at description of the death of hostages.

"He was the expert who had held the most problematic examinations, which are still questioned by the parents of the victims. After the terror act he took the position of the head of the Bureau of Forensic-Medical Examinations. We wanted him to be summoned to court but he failed to appear. But today is a sacred day - the Annunciation, this is the only reason why I agreed to reconciliation," Ella Kesaeva said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Now, the "Voice of Beslan" has already three won trials behind. The members of the organization think it as a victory.

We remind you that Marina Melikova, the claimant and new chairperson of the "Voice of Beslan", had accused Ella Kesaeva on four Articles of the Russian Criminal Code: Article 115, part 1 ("Deliberate causing light harm to one's health), Article 116, part 1 ("Beatings"), Article 129, part 1 ("Slander") and Article 130, part 1 ("Insult").
