CEC of Georgia: falsifications really took place at the election

For the first time, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Georgia has recognized facts of rough violations, which had taken place during the early presidential election.

At the same time, the CEC asserts that these violations will not affect in any way the general totals of the election, the Deutsche Welle Radio reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" reported earlier that in the opinion of Konstantin Kosachov, chair of the International Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, international organizations can quite well revise the outcomes of the presidential election in Georgia. He made this statement today.

According to his version, under the pressure of a huge number of facts on the violations of the electoral legislation, the western observers will change their estimates of the recent election, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that on November 9 the Central Electoral Commission cancelled the results of voting at four polling stations because of different registered violations, including pressure on voters and attempts to drop extra ballot papers into ballot boxes.
