Bus explosion in North Ossetia: 6 casualties, 17 wounded

According to the latest data, as a result of the bus explosion in the border of North Ossetia with Kabardino-Balkaria, 6 persons were killed, and the number of those injured has reached 17 persons.

In addition to those who were killed in the place of the tragedy, a woman aged 45-50 died at hospital in North Ossetia from a heavy stomach trauma, brain concussion and serious burns.

Some time earlier, a man of 25 had also died at hospital in Kabardino-Balkaria from injuries received at the explosion, the NEWSru Agency informs.

"As a result of the explosion, passengers received fragmental wounds, and after the explosion, as it is now known a fire set up that has led to multiple burns," Fatima Tabolova, a feldsher of the Kirov District Hospital (North Ossetia), where the majority of victims were delivered, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The explosion of the "Ikarus" bus took place on November 22 at about 6:00 p.m. near the Iran village in the border of North Ossetia with Kabardino-Balkaria. The bus had 40 seats. According to the updated information, the explosion was caused by a device with the capacity of about 500 grams in trotyl equivalent installed in the rear back part of the bus.
