Distributor of video with execution released under recognizance not to leave in Adygea

The student from Adygea, who pled guilty of distribution through the Internet of the video clip with execution of Dagestan and Tajikistan natives, has been released today under recognizance not to leave.

"The freedom restriction measure in his relation was changed. The inspector has come to the conclusion that at present the citizen represents no public threat and will not continue this sort of distribution, since all his computer equipment was confiscated," Vasily Guk, the official spokesman of the Prosecutor's Office of Adygea, has stated.

Mr Guk said that at the present stage of investigation the suspect was presented the charge under Article 282 of the Criminal Code (CC) of the Russian Federation "kindling interethnic enmity." From the viewpoint of this Article, there is no difference whether the video clip was staged or not. But if it becomes clear that the filmed events were real, the criminal case would be initiated under another CC Article.
