Investigation of explosion of "Neva-Express" train is over

The investigation under the criminal case on blowing the "Neva-Express" train is over, and one of the defendants - Maksharip Khidriev was given the right to get acquainted with the materials of the case.

The "Caucasian Knot" reported earlier that on March 6 the General Prosecutor's Office returned the "Neva-Express" case for additional investigation, as, in the opinion of Prosecutor's Office, the inquiry was not complete.

Now, the "Interfax" reports that Murat Yunusov, Khidriev's advocate, has confirmed that he and his client are reading the case files.

Meanwhile, the spokesman of the press service of the Novgorod Regional Court said that on April 3 Khidriev's custody was extended till June 18. The arrest term of the second figurant in the case - Salanbek Dzakhkiev - also expires on June 18, as the "Vesti" reports.

Natives of Ingushetia Salanbek Dzakhkiev and Maksharip Khidriev figure in the case only as helpers. According to one of the versions, the terror act was organized and committed by one person - Pavel Kosolapov, who was announced into search last August.
