Field commander Eli Yandarbiyev was killed in Chechnya

Eli Yandarbiyev, the emir of the group "Jaamat", was killed during a special operation in the Chechen village of Noviye Atagi yesterday evening. As the Russian interior ministry's press-cutting service has reported today, the house where 37-year old Yandarbiyev was hiding was rounded up by special-purposed fighters.

The commander of the group offered the separatist to yield, but Yandarbiyev began firing back from the automatic and was killed. According to the data of the federal forces headquarters, Yandarbiyev was privy to several terrorist acts and armed attacks, which resulted in losses among peaceful people and military man.
