By Easter, President of Georgia has pardoned 390 prisoners
In honour of the Easter, President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili has pardoned 390 prisoners, including 23 women and 6 minors.
348 pardoned inmates will get at large today, while the remaining 42 prisoners, under Saakashvili's decree, will have their terms reduced, as the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
The cases of prisoners-candidates for pardoning were jointly considered by the Patriarchy and the State Pardon Commission, as the "Georgia Online" Agency reports.
