In Ingushetia, cafe is damaged by explosion

Today, at about 11 a.m., an explosion took place in one of the cafes in central Nazran. The building was essentially damaged: windows were broken and walls damaged. None of the visitors or personnel suffered.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has learnt about it from one of local residents. According to the source, the cafe is in Moskovskaya Street between the OVD and Savings Bank premises.

"At the moment of the explosion I was in my car near the place of the incident. I can't say that it was very strong; I heard something like a clap. People say that cafe 'Traktir' in Moskovskaya Street was blown up. Now, militia is everywhere there. Thanks Lord, nobody suffered," said Umalat.

The city OVD has confirmed the fact of explosion, however, made no comments on the incident. "Now, a group of inspectors studies the venue, and it's too early to speak about the cause of the explosion. It is not excluded that it was just a leak of household gas," an officer has explained.

A source in law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia has reported that an unidentified explosive blew up.

It should be noted that on April 15 unidentified persons blew up a hall of slot machines in Ordzhonikidzevskaya village in Sunzha District. The incident happened late at night, nobody was inside and nobody suffered.

On that very day in Nazran, in Kravchuka Street, an explosive blew up in the yard of the household belonging to Rustam Khalukhaev, head of the Department on Counteracting Extremism of the Republic's MIA. Nobody suffered, but the household was damaged.

At night on April 16, in Ekazhevo village, Nazran District of Ingushetia, unidentified persons shelled a militiaman's house. Fortunately, there were no victims.
