Three local residents found assassinated in Dagestan forest

Today, three persons were found murdered in a large forest near Dylym village, Kazbek District of Dagestan.

Sira Saipov, head of the district administration, said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that on April 1, Uzari Gadzhiev, born in 1972, an employee of the Kazbek ROVD, Magomed Gilakaev, born in 1949, a mechanic of the State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) "Dylym", and his brother Paizudin, born in 1966, an entrepreneur, went in a militia's UAZ van to the forest to gather wild onions. After they failed to respond to numerous telephone calls, their relatives raised an alarm.

Militiamen found Gadzhiev and Gilakaev brothers dead. According to law enforcement bodies, the casualties lay with faces down, their hands roped and their heads shot through. For a long time relatives were not admitted to the bodies, as law enforcers suspected that the bodies could be mined. After arrival of sappers from Makhachkala and inspection of the bodies and surroundings, the bodies were given out for funerals.

The administration head of the Kazbek District views militants as the basic potential assassins. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan has reported about initiation of a criminal case on the fact of murder.
