Centre to inspect religious training institutions started in Ingushetia

The main goal of the analytical centre, now created in Ingushetia with the aim to check the institutions of religious training, is the work with youth. The employees of the centre will visit mosques on a weekly basis and hold meetings with villagers of Ingushetia. Azit Gudanilov, an employee of the centre, told about it to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The idea to check the work of the national institutions of religious training was expressed by President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov in his interview to the "Caucasian Knot" and "Gazeta.Ru" on March 6.

According to Mr Gudanilov, the centre will work with young people for persuading them to move along with the Islam. "They need explanations on what the Islam is, what it allows and what it forbids. Imams should do it," he said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The centre will start its work on Monday, March 16.

The source has reported that it is known already that the centre will hold lectures, twice a week in universities and higher schools of the Republic, dealing with what the Islam is and what terrorism is, and "what the difference is between Islam and terrorism." Similar lectures will be also held in the military units of Ingushetia.

To the question, whether the analytical centre will receive complaints from those who have suffered from the actions of power agencies, Mr Gudanilov has answered that so far the centre has no such functions. However, it is already known that the centre's workers will get into the problems of blood feud and censorship on the television.
