Territorial police department's officer was abducted in Chechnya

An officer of a territorial police department was abducted in Chechnya, the republican interior ministry informed on Tuesday.

"The day before ten people armed with submachine guns, wearing masks and camouflage rushed into the house of police officer Ruslan Khalidov, which is situated on Sharipov Street in the Shalinsky district's Germenchuk village," said the interior ministry's official.

According to his words, the strangers beat Khalidov, bound him and took away in an unknown direction in a car without number plates. The investigation has been launched.
