Chechen rebels are preparing to use poison

Chechen rebels are preparing new actions of intimidation, but this time terrorists are going to use virulent poison instead of bombs stuffed with bearings and ragged iron. This was reported at the Regional Operations Headquarters.

Meanwhile, federal forces in Chechnya managed to avert two large terrorist acts. One of the bombs was detected in the settlement of Urus-Martan. The second device was found on the northwestern outskirt of the town of Argun near a bus stop. Both the devices were found by field engineers of federal forces while exploring the areas.

It should be noted that on the threshold of the forthcoming presidential election officers of the federal security agencies and Chechen interior ministry take unexampled security measures. In particular, all electoral stations are guarded by reinforced police forces.
