"Aikakan Zhamanak" names hunters on demonstrators in Yerevan on March 1, 2008

The oppositional Armenian newspaper "Aikakan Zhamanak" has named, with reference to its sources close to the police, four ensigns from military police units Nos. 1032 and 1033, who killed on March 1, 2008, from special weapon "Cheryomukha-7" three demonstrators - Tigran Khachatryan, 23, Gora Kloyan, 29, and Armen Farmanyan, 35.

The newspaper wrote in its issue dated February 17 that these are ensigns A. Atarbekyan and L. Akopyan from unit No. 1032, and their colleagues-ensigns V. Saakyan and M. Garibyan from unit No. 1033. One of those who gave orders was Lieutenant Colonel A. Antonyan chief of staff of unit No. 1033.
