Akhmad Kadirov's letter to Defense Minister, Interior Minister, Federal Security Service Director, and Russian Prosecutor General

To Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Ivanov,
Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Gryzlov,
Federal Security Service Director Patrushev,
Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Ustinov.

I, Akhmad Hajji Kadirov, the Acting President of the Chechen Republic appointed by Russian President Vladimir Putin's Edict, have been establishing peace and security in the republic with your help for three years. The war part of the operation has been finished.

People keep on disappearing without traces in Chechnya. They are taken in the middle of the night, they are disappeared without traces, their bodies are not found, and one sees them alive no longer.

This is a pain of the whole republic. This is my personal pain.

I have no doubts it is that very "third force" - a party of the fratricidal Chechen war sticklers - which acts at night in Chechnya.

"Werewolves with shoulder-straps" within the interior ministry has been revealed in Moscow. "Werewolves in camouflage", "werewolves on APCs" act in Chechnya. The tension in the republic is kept up by their crimes. The blood of innocent people is on their hands.

This third force, "werewolves on APCs", showed themselves - they call themselves a "squadron". This is a "squadron of death".

I, Akhmad Hajji Kadirov, the Acting President of the Chechen Republic, demand to establish an interdepartmental commission with your assistance, empower it, find missing people at the highest level, and, which it the most important, reveal and punish the "werewolves on APCs", this "squadron of death", hard, fully according to the law.

We must tell truth to the people of Chechnya, deliver them from night horror. We are bound to assure people's safety, to establish law, security and order in Chechnya.

Acting President of the Chechen Republic
Akhmad Kadirov
