Inhabitants of tent camps in Ingushetia will participate in Chechen presidential election

Polling stations to elect president of the Chechen Republic will be organized in tent camps on the territory of Ingushetia. It was announced by Presidential Commission on Human Rights Chairwoman Ella Pamfilova.

"The organization of the polling stations in tent camps on the territory of Ingushetia and in other places of compact residence of forced migrants from Chechnya (for example, in Dagestan) is adjusted with Russian Central Election Commission Chairman Aleksandr Veshnyakov," said Pamfilova.

In Pamfilova's opinion, this is a necessary action as the process of resettlement from tent camps to temporary accommodation centers on the territory of Chechnya will not have been completed by October 1, as it was believed before.
