Ingush authorities suppressed before elections songs of popular Chechen singer

Ingush authorities absolutely unexpectedly suppressed audio and video production with songs of Timur Mutsurayev, a popular Chechen author-performer.

Owners of multiple stalls selling audio and video production are forbidden not only to sell but also to reproduce songs of the Chechen singer under the threat of a 300-ruble fine and equipment confiscation in favor of the state.

Mutsurayev's patriotic songs are especially reveled by young people. He sings about different things: about love for native land, about friendship, about friends killed in the war, about God and life, distorted by war.

It is interesting to note that no one forbids to listen to Mutsurayev's songs and sell his cassettes in Chechnya. Mutsurayev is popular among Russian servicemen as well.
