Re-registration of refugees will be conducted from September 10 till November 15

The re-registration of refugees that do not have Russian citizenship and exchange of old identity cards for new ones will be conducted in North Osetia from September 10 till November 15.

Those who will not pass the re-registration will be deprived of refugee status in compliance with the Law of Russia "About the Refugees", a source at the Interior Ministry's Migration Department of North Osetia reported on Tuesday.

Those people will be considered as the people illegally residing on the territory of Russia and can be deported, noted the representative of the department. According to the Migration Department's information, 9 thousand people residing of the territory of North Osetia have refugee status now.
