750 thousand rubles are allotted for construction of new power line that will lead to refugee settlement

The other day during his meeting with power engineering specialists of the Republic of North Osetia - Alania the Russian President's Envoy for Osetian-Ingush Conflict Settlement Kulakovsky decided to allot 750 thousand rubles for the construction of a new power line that will lead to a refugee settlement. The settlement in question is 250 trailers situated on the border between Ingushetia and North Osetia. According to different sources, from 1 to 3 thousand refugees - victims of the Osetian-Ingush conflict - live in those trailers.

The inhabitants of the trailers are deprived of any aid from the state as the settlement is not registered officially. Until now, having no means of subsistence, and consequently, means to pay for the electricity, gas and water consumed, inhabitants of the settlement have connected up to the communication systems of the nearby village of Maysky. The have done it without permission.

Now the separate power line is going to be constructed to supply the settlement. Meanwhile, the question of who will enter the settlement of 250 trailers "not registered on a map" to balance is being under consideration.
