Ingush court finds Magomed Evloev's detention illegal

The Nazran District Court has found the detention of Magomed Evloev, the owner of the website "Ingushetia.Ru", after which Evloev was wounded from pistol and later died. The news was reported by Musa Pliev, advocate of the Evloev family. In his opinion, this decision indicates that after Murat Zyazikov's resignation from the post of Ingushetian President "the courts can function quite lawfully."

Mr Pliev treats the court judgement as "unexpected, but lawful." "Everybody understands quite well that Evloev's murder was pre-planned, but under Zyazikov's presidency the court and investigation experienced unprecedented pressure," the lawyer has noted. As he said, the today's decision of the court is another confirmation of the version "that Evloev was intentionally murdered under the order of the authorities, and everything was done to this end, including illegal detention," the "Echo Moskvy" Radio reports.
