Regional targeted program for rehabilitation of disabled people for 2004-2006 is being completed in ministry of labor and social protection of population

As the head of the ministry department Gaidukov said, the program gives more consideration to the improvement of disabled people's environment, availability of social structures, physical training and sports institutions.

The regional ministries of health and education made concrete propositions. The ministry of labor is asking for 18 million rubles for the means of the social adaptation of disabled people. Wheelchairs, tilting beds for hospitals, special literature for the blind, etc. will be bought with this money.

Two million rubles of the sum mentioned are planed to be spent on the purchase of hearing aids. The governor is to receive the complex targeted program for the rehabilitation of disabled people in October.
