Father of Ilyas Sharipov detained in Dagestan complains of bureaucrats' inaction

Rasul, father of Ilyas Sharipov, who was detained in Dagestan, complains that his numerous appeals to federal and local officials with a demand to address the situation gave no results. Today, Rasul Sharipov who lives in Balakhany village of the Untsukul District has sent his application to President of Dagestan Mukhu Aliev and Prime Minister Shamil Zainalov.

Rasul Sharipov has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the pretext for his applications was arrest on May 1 in the city of Khasavyurt of his son Ilyas Sharipov. According to Rasul's version, on that day his son told him by his mobile phone that the house where he was staying was surrounded by unknown persons in camouflage who demanded to open the door.

For two days nothing was heard about Ilyas Sharipov, and on May 3 Rasul Sharipov received a call from an unknown female who presented herself as Nutsalai Magomedova, appointed advocate of the younger Sharipov. She reported that Ilyas Sharipov was accused of kidnapping a human, illegal storage of arms and banditism.

On May 4, father could meet his son. Ilyas Sharipov looked severely beaten, with bruises on his face, his behaviour was inadequate. Ilyas said that he was constantly beaten, with putting plastic packages over his head, threatened with execution of the members of his family and his removal to Khankala.

Ilyas Sharipov was suffering from renal colics, and according to his relatives, no medical aid was rendered to him, and he was pressed on already to confess of a murder.
