In sacred places of ancestors

On August 24-29 senior school students of the RUHS Orthodox gymnasium, leaders of the Alania (Osetin) Tskhinvali Eparchy and some mass media representatives took a history enlightenment and pilgrimage trip though the sacred places of West Ancient Alania (Osetia). The pilgrims's route passed though the Otradnensky and Labinsky regions of the Krasnodar territory, Lower Arkhiz and the village of Kosta Khetagurova in the Republic of Karachaevo-Cherkessia.

NOG BON Independent Television Company Director Kosta Kochiyev, a participant of this action, explained: "The aim of the trip was to get acquainted with the ancestors' land for the first time in more than six hundred years, to integrate with the people living on that land. Besides, there are some plans to arrange tourist trips though the ancient Christian places of West Alania."
