Ramzan Kadyrov's life attempted in Chechnya

An attempt on the life of Ramzan Kadyrov, Chechen president, was made in the village of Khosi-Yurt in Chechnya. There was no damage.

A "Caucasian Knot" source reports that Khosi-Yurt (this is how Tsentoroy, the Kadyrov's clan settlement in Chechnya, is called) is currently blocked by law enforcement officers. There are no details yet.

According to the information placed on one of the sites which supports Chechen separatists, on July 20, 2008, 6 persons from the Kadyrov's immediate environment were captured and brutally killed after sadist torture in the village of Khosi-Yurt (Tsentoroy).

The site claims that the relatives of the victims are afraid to give information on the incident. It is only known that one of the victims was Kadyrov's class-mate and among others who were in the immediate environment of the Chechen president. According to the source information, all the 6 persons were killed on the same day when they were captured and they were all in the Benoy tape. They were accused of preparing an attempt on Kadyrov's life.   After the murder, the bodies of two persons were burnt and the other bodies were dismembered, runs the site.

However, according to the information of the "Regnum" agency, the attempt was made last week in Gudermes during a public event. The agency refers to a source in the "Sever" battalion whose task is, among others, providing the security to the Chechen president.

Meanwhile, the "Gazeta.Ru" notes that no official comments on such reports have been offered yet.
