School director shot dead in Dagestan

Today morning in Dagestan, Budun Sharapudinov, director of secondary school No. 4 in the city of Khasavyurt, was shot dead from a sub-machine gun.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan has reported that the crime was committed at about 8:00 a.m. Moscow time in the Vorobyova Street. Unknown persons opened sub-machine fire at the director, when he got out of his car and tried to make his way in direction to the school. The death was immediate.

The attackers managed to escape in their car. A criminal case was opened under the Articles of the Criminal Code dealing with "Murder" and "Illegal circulation of weapons and ammunition".

We remind you that yesterday, on May 21, a special operation was conducted in Semeder village, located near the capital of Dagestan, aimed to liquidate a resisting militant who was hiding in one of private houses. The militant was killed, one fighter of Dagestan SOBR (Special Weapons Assault Team) was lost, and another worker of law enforcement bodies was injured and hospitalized.
