In Krasnodar Territory, the case of Private Ivanov who was beaten by his comrade-in-arms sent to the court

The case of Private Alexander Ivanov who was beaten on February 24 in Military Unit No. 6822, deployed in Krasnodar, was transferred to the Krasnodar Garrison Military Court. The date of the first court session is not fixed yet.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by Yuri Redkin, head of a military investigatory department of the Investigatory Committee at the Russian Prosecutor's Office for the Krasnodar Garrison.

Mr Redkin has reported that Sergeant Denis Korytov, accused of beating Private Alexander Ivanov, has completely pled guilty. He is accused under two Articles of the Russian Criminal Code: part 3, Article 286 "Excess of official duties with application of violence", and Article 344 "Violation of Internal Service and Garrison Patrolling Regulations". The Sergeant is under threat of up to 10 years of imprisonment.

Let us note here that after initiation of the criminal case Denis Korytov was detained, however, then he was released under his command supervision. Today, he continues his military service.
