Human rights organization MAShR denies that Mutsolgov killed in Ingushetia was its employee

Representatives of the human rights organization MAShR have stated that Mr Mutsolgov, who was killed yesterday, on March 12, in the course of a counterterrorist operation, for 7 months already was not their employee.

"Rustam Mutsolgov was not working for ANCO (Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization) MAShR since August 1, 2007. Before, he had taken the position of monitoring expert for six months," a source in the MAShR has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. "Rustam was a graduate of the law department of one of colleges in Nazran, shortly before his dismissal he had got married, and had never been noticed for his sympathies to the militants."

Let us note here that according to the news item of the RIA "Novosti", which refers to the information received by the Russian FSB Department for the Republic, Mutsolgov had undergone special training and wanted to commit a subversive terrorist act in a place of mass congestion of people as a suicide bomber. Also, according to their data, he worked for the ANCO "MAShR".

Also according to the FSB, during the operation Mutsolgov rendered armed resistance, opened fire at the capture group from his fire-arms. During the skirmish he tried to bring a grenade into the fighting condition, but it blew up in his hands, and a result he was mortally wounded.
