Krasnodar Territory: opposition protests against election outcomes to the General Prosecutor's Office

Sergey Obukhov, Deputy of the State Duma (faction of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation - CPRF), has directed some 20 requests to the Russian Public Prosecutor Yuri Chaika. He has indicated that that at presidential election on March 2 in the Krasnodar Territory, a total of 63,649 additional votes were ascribed to Dmitri Medvedev, whereas Gennady Zyuganov was deprived of 11,678 votes, Vladimir Zhirinovskiy - of 33,540 votes and Andrei Bogdanov - of 4222 votes.

While revealing the ways of falsification, Sergey Obukhov has presented the Public Prosecutor with 95 protocols of Krasnodar local electoral commissions, in which the data mismatches the protocols of territorial commissions. In his application, the MP asks Yuri Chaika "to make retabulation of the votes at the above polling stations and initiate criminal cases against the officials who had forged the protocols of the Commissions and who had forced others to commit illegal actions."

Deputy Obukhov said in his conversation with the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that he has received answers to a number of his requests, according to which the materials were delivered for consideration to the Prosecutor's Office of the Krasnodar Territory.
