Participants of hunger strike in Georgia have sharp aggravation of health condition

Today, on the 14th day of the hunger strike, the state of health of the leaders of the United Opposition of Georgia has worsened, and quarantine was introduced near the building of Parliament in Tbilisi in the Rustaveli Avenue.

The United National Board of the United Opposition has declared that the reason of quarantine was a sharp deterioration of the health of the hunger-strikers. According to the decision of the United National Board, even relatives, friends and journalists will not be admitted to the protesters.

According to Ekaterina Beseliya, Secretary General of the Party "Movement for United Georgia", who is quoted by the IA "News-Georgia", "as of today, the whole responsibility for the life of the hunger-strikers is on the leadership of the country."

The critical condition was registered in Georgiy Tsagareishvili, Zviad Dzidziguri, Koba Davitashvili and Giya Tortladze, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports. According to the information of doctors, who were on duty at the Parliament, the hunger-strikers refuse to take glucose and medicines; this is why their health condition is uncontrollable.

According to the initiative group of physicians, 60 out of 100 hunger-strikers have increased level of toxins in organism, which indicates an abnormal self-burning of fats. It can lead to irreversible processes in the body, the "Echo Moskvy" Radio reports. The protesters also suffer from lowered blood pressure, reduced level of sugar in blood and increased heart beat.
