Attack on Journalist Zakhidov's lawyer in Azerbaijan

On the night of March 16, a group of unknown persons attacked Osman Kiazymov, a known lawyer, in Azerbaijan. The persons tried to kidnap the lawyer.

The attack took place 500 meters from the lawyer's house when he was leaving his car in the garage, tells the lawyer to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. The lawyer suffers from wounds of his arms and feet.

However, he is not going to complain to the law enforcement bodies because he does not believe in any result. But he intends to aply to the chair of the Bar Association.

Notably, Kiazymov used to defend in court leaders of a number of opposition parties and Ganimat Zakhidov, chief editor of the newspaper "Azadlyg", who was sentenced to 4 years in prison last week.
