Court marshals deny that they we beaten by "Voice of Beslan" members

The Department of the Federal Service of Court Marshals (FSCM) of the Pravoberezhny District of North Ossetia has stated that nobody from the "Voice of Beslan" Public Organization beat the judge and seven court marshals. The spokesman of the FSCM Department said that the information was misinterpreted by the media.

"There was no beating of court marshals. Now, a service investigation is underway, none of them ever filed a complaint against the 'Voice of Beslan'. Why seven persons? We have five marshals at all, and three of them were then present at the sitting," said Rodion Kelekhsaev, head of the Pravoberezhny FSCM Department.

Being asked about a possible source of the information, Rodion Kelekhsaev said that the rumours could have been invented by the victims themselves. The FCSM Department feels indignant by journalists' publications where the facts are wrongly presented.

"Now, the marshals are at work, therefore, it's not possible to talk to them," Mr Kelekhsaev has added.
