Oppositional web site still blocked in Ingushetia

In Ingushetia, the blockade of the oppositional web site "Ingushetia.ru" continues, however, as of 10 a.m. both providers (ITT Closed Joint-Stock Company and Telecom Limited Liability Company) have removed the readdressing of the visitors to a porno web site.

The blocked edition has also stated that on November 13 information appeared that Arsamak Zyazikov, a relative of the President of Ingushetia and Deputy Minister of Finance, has something to do with the incident. Allegedly, he made a call to Ibrahim Albakov, head of the Telecom LLC, and programmer Iles Dzaurov with congratulations on a "successful operation". According to the oppositional edition, in April 2005 Arsamak Zyazikov paid out remuneration to Iles Dzaurov for successful creation of a false twin web site "Ingushetia.ru", which was in operation during the meeting organized by Musa Ozdoev, oppositional deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Ingushetia.

On November 13, applications were lodged to the State Office of Public Prosecutor of the Russian Federation and the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Mass Communications, Mail and Defence of Cultural Heritage ("Rossvyazokhrancultura") on bringing to responsibility of the providers - the Telecom LLC and ITT CJSC.

Besides, it was decided to disconnect all the IP-addresses of the Telecom LLC from viewing the "Ingushetia.ru" web site, to force the clients of this company to give up the services of this Company.

Director of the Telecom LLC Ibrahim Albakov has confirmed the fact of mandatory readdressing of the users of the web site "Ingushetia.ru" to a pornographic site. However, he has categorically denied any involvement of the Telecom LLC to the incident, the NewTimes.ru informs.

We remind you that access to the web site from other regions of Russia is available now without any technical difficulties.
