The girl who perished in Dagestan at explosion in a shuttle-taxi saved other passengers

As a result of the investigation, the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan have found out that Sidrat Gasankhadzhieva, a resident of the Khasavyurt District, who died on October 23 in a shuttle-taxi, had nothing to do with the explosion.

According to the information received by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan, it became clear after interrogation of all the passengers that one of the young men who were in the shuttle-taxi was juggling a grenade, which then dropped out of his hands. The grenade fell down to the girl's feet, she bent over it and absorbed all the blast wave, thus, saving other passengers.

We remind you that the explosion in the shuttle-taxi in the Kazbek District of Dagestan took place on October 23.

The "Gazel" model van with fifteen passengers onboard was making its trip from the city of Khasavyurt to the Dylym village. As a result of the explosion, eight persons were injured, and one woman was lost.

The investigation of the incident continues, nothing is reported about detention of the young man who had the grenade in his hands.
