Chechen blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov* recognized as foreign agent

The Russian Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has included the Chechen blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov*, who lives abroad, into the register of foreign agents.

The MoJ has indicated that the blogger "disseminated false information about decisions made by Russian authorities and their policies, as well as spread false information aimed at creating a negative image of the Russian Armed Forces; he spoke out against the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine, and took part in the creation and dissemination of foreign agents' materials."

"I was declared a terrorist, extremist, and participant in an illegal armed formation (IAF) by Russia a long time ago and was even arrested in absentia. Now, I'm also a foreign agent," Tumso wrote in his Telegram channel.
