Attack on law enforcers in Magas was the second armed incident in Ingushetia within a month

The shooting of a law enforcers' car in Magas was preceded by a special operation conducted by law enforcers in Magas and Nazran, during which seven people were detained and one was killed.

Unidentified persons have shelled a law enforcers' car in Magas, killing three people. Sources reported that the deceased were employees of the centre for combating extremism; according to other sources, a patrol-and-post (PPS) inspector and his relatives were killed.

According to the "Caucasian Knot", based on its own materials and information from open sources, the shootout was the second armed incident in Ingushetia within a month.

On September 30, law enforcers conducted an operation to detain eight residents of Ingushetia, who, according to the FSB, had been preparing attacks on energy facilities and law enforcers. Seven suspects were detained; the eighth one offered armed resistance and was shot dead.
