Armed attack in North Ossetia - one person killed, two wounded

In the village of Bazorkino (Chermen) of the Prigorodny District of North Ossetia local residents-Ingushes have been assassinated.

On October 19, at about 11 p.m. unknown persons shelled from automatic weapons a group of local residents-Ingushes in one of the streets of Bazorkino (Chermen) village. The attackers were in a car model VAZ-21099 of silvery colour, the web portal Ingushetia.Ru informs.

As a result of the shelling, Sultygov, born in 1984, a relative of Kazbek Sultygov, Deputy Minister on Matters of Nationalities of Ingushetia, was killed, and Timurziev and Dzaurov were heavily wounded. The wounded persons were delivered to the Republic's Hospital of Ingushetia (in the city of Nazran).

The attackers disappeared from the place of the incident. Currently, the law enforcement bodies are searching them and establishing the circumstances of the incident, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has already informed that in January-September 2007 a total of 6775 crimes were registered in North Ossetia, by 9.1 percent higher than the similar parameter of 2006.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it at the press service of North-Ossetian militia, where a sitting of the board on the results of the operatively-service activities for the expired period of the year took place.
