Social media users express their scepticism about Kadyrov’s report on success of his teenage daughter

Twelve-year-old Ashura Kadyrova has completed training courses to join the Practical Shooting Federation, Ramzan Kadyrov boasts about his daughter’s success. The achievements and awards of Ramzan Kadyrov’s children are associated with the patronage of their father, social media users note.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on April 20, the Grozny Mayoralty reported that Tabarik Kadyrova, a 19-year-old daughter of Ramzan Kadyrov, who is listed as the head of one organization and the founder of 12 other organizations, was awarded the medal “For Services to Chechnya”.

On April 27, Ramzan Kadyrov’s daughter Ashura completed a course on the “safe use of firearms to join the Practical Shooting Federation” and an 80-hour course in shooting training with a pistol and carbine at the Russian Special Forces University, the leader of Chechnya reported in his page on the “VKontakte” social network.

“I am glad that Ashura showed her interest in military affairs ... From her early age, the girl has got an amazing desire to acquire new knowledge and skills. I rightly believe that at her age, mastering such combat skills is a great achievement,” Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in his page on the social network.

In their comments, most social media users admired Ramzan Kadyrov’s daughter, and only some expressed their scepticism about the statement of the Chechen leader. “Has she got a medal already?” user Andrei Agapov asked with irony. “Don’t forget to award her with the title of hero,” user Alexander Telepov advised.

In November 2023, Akhmat Kadyrov, an 18-year-old son of the leader of Chechnya, was appointed Deputy Minister for Physical Culture, Sports, and Youth Policy of the republic. In accordance with the law, a position of the above-mentioned level may not be held by a person without completed higher education, lawyers pointed out.
