Journalist arrested for bribe-taking in Azerbaijan worries about protracted investigation
In Azerbaijan, the inquiry in relation to Mushfig Guseinov, an employee of the "Bizim Yol" (Our Way) newspaper, is protracted. No investigatory actions have been taken in relation to the journalist for the whole month already, and he is concerned about the situation.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by the journalist's defence.
Let us note here that Mushfig Guseinov was arrested this August on accusation of taking a 3,000-dollar worth bribe from the worker of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
As to the custody conditions and the state of health, Mr Guseinov expressed no complaints to his advocates.
