Dagestani authorities worry about searching for those missing at SMO zone

The government of Dagestan has instructed local authorities and public organizations to provide support to relatives and friends of the militaries, who have gone missing in the special military operation (SMO) zone in Ukraine. A working group was set up to coordinate the search, which included the Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan, the republic's Ombudsperson, as well as the military prosecutor and commissar.

According to the "Novoye Delo" (New Cause) outlet, the govt's resolution state the creation of a working group that will help relatives and friends in searching for the missing SMO fighters by providing psychologists' support to family members of those missing, and will also increase the efficiency of search efforts.

It should be noted here that relatives of the Russian militaries, who have perished in the SMO zone, often cannot obtain the due compensations and social benefits. The point is mainly about those who perished while being members of the formations not related to the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD).
