Law enforcers detain Sochi activist Vladimir Atamanchuk

The police detained activist Vladimir Atamanchuk in Sochi and demanded from him to follow them to a police department.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on March 15, Vladimir Atamanchuk submitted an application to the election commission requesting to remove his personal data from the list of voters for the current election.

On March 15-17, Russia held voting at the presidential election. At polling stations in Kuban, observers faced artificial obstacles, and employers requested voters to report their participation in the voting, authors of the complaints about violations reported.

Vladimir Atamanchuk associated his detention with the application that he submitted to the territorial election commission to refuse to participate in the election, which he considered illegitimate.

Let us remind you that on November 11, 2023, investigators closed the case on discrediting the Russian Armed Forces against Vladimir Atamanchuk, but instituted a criminal case on defamation against him.
