Murad Shuaibov, convicted of killing "Chernovik" founder, found dead in colony
Murad Shuaibov, a resident of Dagestan, one of those convicted for the murder of Khadjimurad Kamalov, the founder of the "Chernovik" outlet, was found dead in the penal colony located in the city of Segezha in Karelia.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Khadjimurad (Gadjimurad) Kamalov, the founder of the "Chernovik", was shot dead on December 15, 2011. He was engaged in investigative journalism, including people disappearances, and wrote articles criticizing the Dagestani authorities and the bosses of the local Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). Shamil Isaev, a former Vice-Premier of Dagestan (he was named as the murder customer), Murad Shuaibov, Magomed Khazamov and Magomed Abigasanov were accused of committing the murder.
"The custody conditions in colonies were never good, but he did not tell me that his problems were so serious that they were incompatible with life," Timur Scheblykin, one of Shuaibov's advocates, has reported as quoted by the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project.
Let us remind you that the editorial board of the "Chernovik" and Magdi Kamalov, Khadjimurad's brother and the current publisher of the outlet disagreed with the conclusions of the court in the Khadjimurad's murder case. Magdi Kamalov believes that the murder has not been solved yet.
