Four Krasnodar women fined for links with undesirable organizations

A court in Krasnodar has imposed fines on four local residents, finding them to be members of a number of foreign organizations deemed undesirable in Russia.

The administrative cases were considered by the Prikubansky District Court of Krasnodar. Law enforcement bodies have accused four residents of Krasnodar of having links with several religious organizations included by the Russian Ministry of Justice (MoJ) into the list of undesirables in Russia – the Buddhist community "Dragon's Springs", the European Association "Falun Dafa" and others.

It was alleged that the women belonged to an association whose members "implement projects and programmes, as well as spread information materials of foreign non-governmental organizations (NGOs)."

At the trial, all the four Krasnodar woman have sincerely repented, the joint press service of Krasnodar courts has informed in its Telegram channel. The proofs in the case were brochures and booklets with hieroglyphs and Buddhist symbols.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that in the summer of 2023, a court in the Krasnodar Territory obliged the Pastor, Vitaly Komarov, to pay a fine for participating in a conference of the New Generation evangelical movement, recognized as an undesirable organization in Russia.
