In Azerbaijan, police exerts pressure on oppositional journalist

Mamedgulu Aliev, Nakhichevan correspondent of the "Eni Musavat" newspaper, is exposed to pressure from the Shakhbuz Police Department of Azerbaijan, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the editorial office.

The editorial people believe that it is related to the journalistic activity of the correspondent. He is accused of telephone blackmail. He was summoned to the police station, where a protocol was draw up about his alleged violation of public order, then, they confiscated his journalist's ID and released him.
