Wreck of "Neva Express" prevents hundreds of people from leaving St-Petersburg

As a consequence of the explosion of No. 166 Moscow - St-Petersburg train, in the evening on August 14 hundreds of people had a more than 10-hour delay on the way. Maria, a passenger of the train, which left late at night after the "Neva Express," told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the main problem was a deficit of food and water in their train.

Yulia Myatijchenko, a resident of St-Petersburg, has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that currently a huge crowd of people has gathered in the Moskovskiy Railway Station of St-Petersburg, who have nowhere to go as they had been late for their trains and airplanes because of a significant delay in transportation. People have to sleep on newspapers on the floor, while nobody is admitted to the VIP-hall. Besides, nobody is going to reimburse their tickets that got expired as a result of train delays.

According to her, all their attempts to contact the station managers and find out, why the passengers were not provided meals and room in the hall, ended in a failure.
